Looking for  a family day out in the Forest of Dean this half term without the scares? Join us for Spooky free family fun – packed with autumn activities and all the Perrygrove Railway Adventure fun your little ones love.

Autumn is our favourite time of the year as our little corner of the Forest of Dean shows off it’s seasonal colours to our visiting families. Whether you are a four season family who love a bit of puddle jumping, crunchy leaves walks, conker searching, or maybe you are looking for more indoor options – we’ve got you covered!

As well as our cosy train rides, you can visit our carriage shed for seasonal crafts and activities, our covered play area in Foxy Hollow (complete with tunnel maze!) and our hide and seek heaven that is the Twilight Zone!

And don’t forget we are dog friendly too so the whole family can join in…

What’s On

• Autumn Trail – spot seasonal surprises from the train and collect a little treat when you’ve found them all
  
• Seasonal crafts in the Carriage Shed – explore our woods to find your own twigs and leaves to make your own woodland wands, autumnal crowns and more!

🕒 Opening Times

• Open every Tuesday & Thursday (10am–3pm) and Saturday & Sunday (10am–4.30pm)
• From 25th October to 2nd November 2025, open every day 10am–4.30pm. First train leaves at 10:30am
