New Autumn Trail this Half Term

Looking for a great value family day out in the Forest of Dean this half term without the scares? Join us for spooky free family fun – packed with autumn activities and all the Perrygrove Railway Adventure fun your little ones love.

Autumn is our favourite time of the year as our little corner of the Forest of Dean shows off it’s seasonal colours to our visiting families. Whether you are a four season family who love a bit of puddle jumping, crunchy leaves walks, conker searching, or maybe you are looking for more indoor options – we’ve got you covered!

As well as our cosy train rides, you can visit our carriage shed for seasonal crafts and fun, railway related activities, our covered play area in Foxy Hollow (complete with tunnel maze!) and our indoor hide and seek heaven – the Twilight Village!

We are dog friendly too so the whole family can join in…

If you can’t drag the kids away, don’t worry, keep your entry tickets and show them on your return visit (before the end of the holidays) for half price entry with our holiday Boomerang offer!

• Open everyday from 25th October to 2nd November 2025, 10am–4.30pm. First train leaves at 10:30am
