Book Your Tickets

Tickets for Normal Days.

We are now open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am.

Tickets last all day and you can arrive whenever you like within the opening hours stated on the ticket. Ticket purchases are not transferable and not refundable (check our terms here).

You do not need to book a ticket for under 2’s.  Annual pass holders can just turn up.

Opening Days

We are open every Saturday, Sunday all year round and daily in local school holidays. We also open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, (10am-3pm), in term time after Easter until October Half Term. At weekends and in school holidays we open at 10am and close at either 4pm or 5pm depending on the time of year.

In November we are open every Saturday and Sunday (10am-4pm) and Tuesday, (10am-3pm).

We have a number of different engines at Perrygrove that might be pulling your train. In the winter and quieter days this is often our Diesel Locomotive Jubilee, (generally mid week and in the winter). We always try and run steam services on our busier days when we can.

Prices

Current prices

Under 2’s are free and you do not need to book a ticket for them.

Tickets last all day and you can re-enter the attraction as much as you like. Advanced booking is available for normal operating days but is not compulsory. Christmas at Perrygrove is advanced ticket holders only and is priced separately.

Disabled

Disabled persons and registered carers receive a discount. The train can accommodate at least 1 wheelchair – often 3 or 4 per trip. Most of the site is wheelchair friendly with level access wherever possible.  The woods are not wheelchair friendly.

Boomerang ticket

During school holidays, visit us more than once and save 50% off your second visit to Perrygrove. Just show us your original ticket and you’ll pay just 50% of entrance fee (original ticket must be shown). This means you can’t book online – just show your original ticket on the gate and the team will sort you out! Please note this excludes Christmas & New Year school holiday.

Annual Passes

Why not enjoy a whole year at Perrygrove! Give the gift of quality family time with an annual pass. If you are an annual pass holder, you do not need to book in advance – just turn up! Purchase when you are here, or email info@perrygrove.co.uk including your telephone number.

Your pass will be valid for one year from the day you purchased the pass. Passes can be purchased for your own use, or as a gift, but they are not transferable. Current prices below;

Extra Terms and conditions for Annual Passes:

• All existing terms and conditions of entry to Perrygrove are still valid
• You must bring photo ID along with this pass every time you visit. Without this, your pass is not valid. The pass holder must be present to use this pass
• This pass is not valid to see Father Christmas and Ice Skating
• Validity at special events will be determined in advance of each event

How to Find Us

We are situated ½ mile south of Coleford on the B4228, (in the direction of Lydney). Coming from Coleford, we are on the left hand side of the road, about 200 yards after the traffic lights and about 500 yards before the Puzzlewood car park.

Rail links;
The nearest mainline railway station is Lydney. They are no buses to the railway station and it’s about ½ mile walk into Lydney town.
There is a heritage railway station in Parkend, (about 3 miles way), which is serviced by the Dean Forest Railway – www.deanforestrailway.co.uk

Bus network;
For up to date timetable please visit, www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/bustimetables Perrygrove is about 800m from the bus stop on Tufthorn Avenue.

Do I need to Book?

No but we recommend booking in advance. Click here to book online

Are dogs allowed?

Yes.  We charge £1 per dog.  There are certain conditions that need to be adhered to; they must be kept on a lead at all times, they are not allowed on the treehouses or in the twilight village and you must clear up after your dog. Poo bags are available for free in the cafe.

Are you open all year round?

Yes, we are open every weekend all year round and daily in local school holidays. We also oopen Tuesdays and Thursdays in term time from February half term until October Halfterm. Please see the booking pages for more information.

Is there a car park?

Yes, we have a large stone and grass car park with disabled parking spaces.

Is there a cafe?

Yes, we serve freshly prepared sandwiches, baguettes, sausage rolls and pasties. Plus great coffee, cake and local ice cream.

Can we bring a picnic? 

Yes, there are plenty of picnic tables at Perrygrove and Foxy Hollow. All we ask is that you take home your picnic rubbish.

Do you supply raffle prizes?
