Perrygrove Railway Adventure is a charming visitor attraction that offers young families unlimited train rides alongside indoor and outdoor play areas, designed for curious children under 10 who love to explore. We are a very dog friendly attraction too.
Our café sells great value coffee, homemade cakes, local ice cream, sandwiches and pastries too.
Indoor Fun
Great indoor fun in our miniature Twilight Village. Discover how our five houses are connected with hidden passages, secret stairs and tunnels. Where will they pop out next? Hide and Seek heaven!
Treetop Adventure Trail
Watch them let off steam on our treetop trail. Perfect for some outdoor scrambling, with a slide, bouncy bridge, ladders to climb and trail to follow. Watch out for the trains below!
Train Rides
Unlimited Steam or Diesel Train Rides. Which heritage engines will you see on your visit? Hop on and off at any of our four stations and wave to passing trains as you explore.
Warren Adventure
Climb inside our Warren Adventure Tunnel Maze and see how fast you can find your way out! Pop up where you least expect and enjoy the slide exit.
Outdoor Play
Enjoy swings, den building, picnics and an undercover climbing frame at Foxy Hollow. Lots of space to explore for little adventurers.
Mini Tractor Rides
Channel your inner farmer on our popular ride-on tractors at Perrygrove Station. Please note these are coin operated.

Perrygrove is open every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday all year round and daily in local, (Gloucestershire), school holidays, plus bank holidays. From Easter until the end of October we are open every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The site is open from 10am and the first train is 10.30am and trains run approximately every 40 minutes. There is large free car park on site and we are dog friendly. Perrygrove is located near Coleford in the Forest of Dean.
