Spooky Free October at Perrygrove

Not a fan of ghosts and ghouls? Neither are we! This October, Perrygrove Railway Adventure is proud to be a Spooky Free attraction – perfect for families looking for autumn fun in the Forest of Dean without the frights.

Autumn is our favourite time at Perrygrove as our little corner of the Forest of Dean shows off it’s seasonal colour and our visitors can enjoy crunching in the leaves between stations and play areas as well as hunting for conkers, cones and more whatever the weather.

Worried about the weather? We all love a bit of puddle jumping and four season adventure, but we also offer plenty of fun inside in addition to our cosy train rides.  There’s our under cover Foxy Hollow play area, our tunnel maze and of course our indoor Twilight Zone – perfect for some serious hide and seek!

And don’t forget your four legged friends can come too as Perrygrove is very dog-friendly!

• Open every Tuesday & Thursday (10am–3pm) and Saturday & Sunday (10am–4.30pm)
• From 25th October to 2nd November 2025, open every day 10am–4.30pm
