Perrygrove Railroad thunders in from the frontier, join us for our showpiece event of the summer.  Wrap up the Half term with a trip to the Wild West.

Visiting locomotives Big and Small, confirmed to be stars of the show;

• SR&RL Number 24, from our friends at the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway
• Cagney of 1904, on a rare visit away from its home at the Richmond Light Railway
• Seven Lam Rio Grande from the Thorpe Light Railway
• Rachel – 060 diesel hydraulic built in 1959, visiting from the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway
• Mystery visitor – appearance subject to completion

Home fleet – Lydia, Spirit of Adventure and of course our very own American engine SOONY will all be in steam over the weekend – this will be your last chance to see Soony at Perrygrove this year before she heads off on a UK tour. Also on display will be the railway adventures latest acquisition, another Seven Lamb Rio Grande formally in use at Oakwood Theme Park in Wales. This locomotive is a personal project of our MD and a thorough restoration will commence next year.

Freight trains and double heading too! We will publish the timetable two days before the event. It will also be available on the day at the ticket hut.

On Saturday afternoon we are delighted to be hosting two line dancing lessons in our carriage shed! This is included in your entry ticket, so come and have a go. Lessons will be at 2pm and 3:15pm, don’t forget to wear your cowboy boots!

We will be open from 9:45am – 5pm each day with the first train departing at 10am. Advance booking highly recommended.
