NEW – Ice Skating At Perrygrove

NEW THIS YEAR – SKATING AT PERRYGROVE!

We’re so excited to share our brand new event for December 2025…

Glide Into the Magic of Ice Skating at Perrygrove – the only place to skate in the Forest of Dean!

Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a first-timer, our ice rink offers the perfect setting for festive fun and unforgettable memories.

The ice rink itself is a synthetic rink and will be located inside the North Pole marquee at Oakiron station. You will need to catch the train to access the marquee and skating. Also inside our twinkling marquee you will find our christmas market stall, fabulous hot chocolate station plus our singing reindeer!

We have a wide range of ice skates for you to try. Your skating session will last for 30 minutes. For safety reasons, under 2’s are not allowed on the rink. There are a limited number of skating aids for children and these will be a first come, first served basis, (we are unable to reserve these in advance).

Skating cannot be booked separately. Skaters MUST hold a valid general entry ticket for ‘Skate on the Rails’ dated for the same day as your skating session.

With twinkling lights, your favourite festive tunes and yummy treats, it’s the ultimate destination for families and friends this Christmas.
