Lifting gantry 5 October 2005 - Raising the beam for the second lifting gantry. Hard hats were worn whilst work was in progress (by the way how much use would a hard hat be if a 500kg beam dropped on one's head?)
4 October 2005 - Beautiful new signs for our stations, made by James Waterfield and Richard Pennington. One of them is for the extension to Crow's Nest which has not yet been built.

Monday 1 March was our annual boiler inspection day. Like all operators of steam equipment in the U.K. we have our boilers checked each year by a boiler inspector.
